Solution :

Dimensions of rectangular piece of paper
l
= 22 cm
b = 10 cm

When it is rolled in the shape of a cylinder then the height of the cylinder will be equal to its breadth and the circumference of its circular base will be equal to its length.
so
H=b=10 cm
C=
l = 22 cm
C = 22 cm
2πr = 22
2×(22/7)×r = 22
r = 7/2 cm

Now, the volume of the cylinder will be
=πr²h
=(22/7)×(7/2)×(7/2)×10
= 385 cm³
